Your tour begins with a pickup from the Las Vegas strip for a 45-minute drive to Boulder City. Then you will be offered a view of the Hoover Dam from the Mike O’Callaghan-Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge, which gives a great view from 900 feet above the Colorado River and Black Canyon. Guests will also have a photo stop at the highest overlook on the Arizona side of the Hoover Dam. This Highlights Tour focuses on the 2 most popular photo stops with a visit to the Historic Boulder City District, where you will be given time to explore “The Town that Built Hoover Dam.” Perfect for guests who want to enjoy views overlooking Hoover Dam, Lake Mead and a view of Historic Boulder City.

Sample Tour Itinerary:
Departure
1. You will depart in the morning from Las Vegas and head toward Boulder City.
Stop
2. Stop at the Mike O'Callaghan–Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge, and walk up the steps to the pedestrian walkway, overlooking Hoover Dam and the Colorado River.
15 Minute Photo Stop
3. Continue on to Hoover Dam, driving across to the Arizona Side, where you will enjoy a 15 minute photo stop with views of the dam, the spillways and the intake towers.
Drive Back
4. Drive back across Hoover Dam, and stop for about 30 minutes at the Lake Mead Visitor Center, located within the Lake Mead National Recreation Area. Enjoy views of the lake and learn about the area at this visitor center run by the National Park Service.
Historic Boulder City
5. Drive up the hill to historic Boulder City, “The city that built Hoover Dam.” Enjoy a visit to the Hoover Dam Museum and The Boulder Dam Hotel. This 30-minute stop also allows you to visit the antique shops and the famous bronze sculptures of the Historic District.
Return
6. Depart Boulder City for your 45-minute return drive to Las Vegas.

Hoover Dam security protocols mandates that whether passing or visiting, no carry-ons the size of a small backpack or larger are permitted. Please leave any luggage at your place of stay.
- Cancellation made 24 hours prior incur no penalty. Cancellation made inside 24 hours will not be refunded. Exceptions will be made in the case of valid force majeure.
- Valid photo ID and confirmation required for check-in.
- Please find your pickup location the day before the tour, and be sure to arrive at least 10 minutes before the scheduled pickup time.
- During the tour, tour operator reserves the right to make itinerary adjustments at the guests’ best interests in unexpected situations that affect the regular operation of the tour. In a situation where force majeure prevents the regular operation of the tour, parties affected will not be held responsible as it is circumstances beyond control.
- Please keep personal belongings on you at all times. NPE will not be responsible for any loss or damage of personal items.
- No alcoholic beverages are permitted on the vehicle during the tour.
- NPE tour staff reserves the rights to refuse guests who appear to be intoxicated or under the influence of drugs or alcohol; these guests will not be eligible for a refund.
Weather Disclaimer: Our tours will operate year-round, throughout seasonal weather. If roads are closed due to weather or other conditions that prohibit us from entering an area of the tour, we will do our best to provide the best route and/or alternate locations and timing to be able to continue to provide the best tour possible. If it is not possible to provide a planned inclusion of the tour with an admission cost, a partial refund will be offered to the guests, minus a processing fee. If the tour still takes place with a portion of the planned itinerary, guests will not receive a refund, other than from excluded admissions.
